Game World: Our Tabletop And RPG Zone
Tired of running your campaign at someone’s kitchen table? Game World is a separate, quieter zone with three dedicated tables for longer sessions, with room for maps, minis, dice and a waffle or two. Bring your own group, campaign and materials, or use some of the HEY SUA resources. You can focus on the story while the rest of HEY SUA keeps going.
Game World is for Member and Member+ members. New here? Your first visit is free. A Community Host will show you around and help you find a table.

Make Your Mark
Member+ players can leave their mark in Game World. Choose a personal detail that stays at HEY SUA: your name or your campaign’s name on a leather-bound book, a guild charter, an old map or a banner. Your group’s story becomes part of the room, and it’s waiting for you every time you come back to play.
How Booking A Table Will Work
Game World tables are booked in time blocks, so your group knows the table is yours for the whole session.

You don’t need to know the rules, own any dice or have a gaming group. We run beginner sessions, open tables and “learn to play” nights for everything from mahjong to your first RPG character.
Our Community Hosts can explain most games in five minutes and help you join a table that’s just starting. Everyone was a beginner once.

Anyone can come in and play in the Play Area. No membership needed. Members get a little more:

Questions About Play
Everything you need to know before your first game at HEY SUA.
Do I need a membership to play?
Not for the Play Area. Anyone can come in and play board games, puzzles and giant games. Game World, our tabletop zone, is for Member and Member+ members.
Can I try Game World before I join?
Yes. Your first visit to Game World is free, so you can see the tables and play a session before you choose a membership.
Can I bring friends who aren’t members to my Game World table?
Yes. Every friend can join you once for free, whether they come on their own, with a group or at a table you booked. After their first visit, they’ll need a Member or Member+ membership to keep playing in Game World.
Can I bring my own games?
Yes. Bring your own board games, campaigns, minis and dice. Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed, but waffles, snacks and drinks are right there.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. HEY SUA is a place for adults to meet new friends, so all of HEY SUA, including workshops, games and events, is for guests 18 and older.
Is it okay to come alone?
Absolutely. That’s what we’re here for. Tell a Community Host you’d like to play and we’ll help you find a table and a game.
When does HEY SUA open?
We’re still choosing our location in Tampa. Join the waitlist and you’ll be the first to hear when we open.
