1 About These Terms

HEY SUA is an alcohol-free social space in Tampa, Florida, operated by Hey Sua LLC (“HEY SUA”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Use apply to everyone who visits our venue, takes part in our activities, buys a membership or uses this website. By doing so, you agree to these terms.

2 Who Can Visit

HEY SUA is a place for adults to meet new friends. All of HEY SUA, including workshops, games, events, outings and membership, is for guests 18 and older. We may ask for a valid photo ID.

3 House Rules

• Alcohol-free: no alcohol may be brought in or consumed at HEY SUA. We may refuse entry to anyone who appears intoxicated.
• No outside food or drinks. Your own games, campaigns, minis, dice and Make Space projects are welcome.
• Be kind and respectful to other guests, members and our team. Harassment, discrimination or aggressive behavior is not tolerated.
• Look after our space: put games back complete, use tools and equipment as instructed and report any damage to a Community Host.
• Follow our team’s instructions, including on safety and on the use of tools and equipment.

We may refuse entry, ask a guest to leave or end a membership when these rules are broken, without a refund.

4 Membership

We offer three membership plans: Essential, Member and Member+. The current prices and benefits are shown on our Membership page. Every membership is personal and cannot be shared or transferred.

• Payment: you can pay monthly or yearly. With yearly payment you pay for 10 months and get 12.
• Renewal: your membership renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• Cancellation: you can cancel at any time. A monthly membership then stays active until the end of that month. A yearly membership stays active until the end of your membership year.
• No refunds: payments are not refunded, also not for unused months or unused benefits.
• Changes: we may change prices or benefits. We tell members at least 30 days in advance, and a price change applies from your next renewal.
• Limited benefits: some benefits, such as Game World tables, table reservations and storage, depend on available space.

5 Game World And The Make Space

• Every non-member can visit Game World once for free and the Make Space once for free. This counts once in total, whether you come alone, with a group or at a table a member booked. After that, a membership is needed.
• Member+ members can reserve a Game World table, subject to availability.
• Storage for Member+ members is limited and provided at your own risk. When your membership ends, please collect your items within 30 days. After that, we may remove them.
• Tools and equipment in the Make Space are used at your own risk and as instructed by our team. Special materials can be bought or bigger tools rented, as shown in the Make Space.

6 Workshops, Events And Outings

• Workshops, events and outings are open to everyone. Prices and what is included are shown when you book.
• Members get 10% off workshops (special workshops may be excluded), a member price on events such as trivia and, with Member and Member+, up to 10% off outings.
• If we cancel an activity, you get a full refund or a credit for another activity.
• If you cannot attend, the cancellation conditions shown when you book apply.
• Outings take place at other venues. Their own rules, safety instructions and waivers also apply, and you may be asked to sign their waiver.
• You take part in activities at your own risk. Please tell a host about any health condition that matters for an activity.

7 Member-Led Workshops

Members with a Member or Member+ membership can propose a workshop. We review every proposal, and we decide which workshops are added to the program.

• HEY SUA provides the venue, the booking and the promotion to our community.
• The proceeds from the first five paying participants go to HEY SUA. The revenue from every further paying participant goes to the workshop leader, to compensate for their time and materials.
• The workshop leader is responsible for the content, the materials they bring and their own skills and qualifications. Workshop leaders are not employees of HEY SUA.
• Further details, such as when the leader is paid, are agreed in writing before the workshop is published.

8 Photos

We sometimes take photos and videos at HEY SUA and at our activities and use them on our website and social media. Don’t want to be in them? Just tell a Community Host or the photographer.

9 Belongings And Liability

Please look after your belongings. To the extent permitted by law, HEY SUA is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items, and not for injury or damage, except where caused by our own negligence. You are responsible for damage you cause on purpose or by careless use of our space, games, tools or equipment.

10 Using This Website

The texts, images, logo and design of this website belong to HEY SUA and may not be copied without permission. We do our best to keep the information on this website correct, but prices, hours and programs can change. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11 Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. For important changes that affect members, we inform members by email.

12 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes are handled by the courts in Hillsborough County, Florida.
