Privacy Policy
The Short Version
- We only collect what we need to run HEY SUA, such as your name, email and bookings.
- We never sell your information.
- Our website statistics use no cookies and stay on our own website. No Google Analytics.
- No cookie popup, because we only use the cookies the website needs to work.
- Want to see, change or delete your information? Email hello@hey-sua.com.
1 About This Policy
HEY SUA is an alcohol-free social space in Tampa, Florida, operated by Hey Sua LLC (“HEY SUA”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, our bookings, our memberships and our venue, how we use it and what choices you have.
Questions? Email us at hello@hey-sua.com.
2 What We Collect
- Waitlist: your name, your email address and which parts of HEY SUA interest you (Meet, Play, Make, Discover).
- Bookings: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, what you booked and anything you choose to tell us for an activity, such as a health condition that matters for it.
- Membership and My HEY SUA account: your name, email address, login details, your plan, your bookings and your payment history.
- Payments: card payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Messages: what you write to us by email or through a form.
- Website statistics: which pages are visited, which website or app a visit came from, the type of device and browser and an approximate location such as the city or country. See section 4.
- At the venue: we may ask to see a photo ID to check that you are 18 or older. We do not keep a copy. We sometimes take photos and videos at HEY SUA, as explained in our Terms of Use.
3 How We Use It
- To run the waitlist and tell you when HEY SUA opens.
- To handle your bookings, memberships and payments, and to send confirmations, reminders and receipts.
- To give members their benefits, such as member prices and table reservations.
- To answer your questions.
- To improve our website and our program.
- To keep HEY SUA safe and apply our house rules.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We currently use no advertising trackers on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
4 Website Statistics
To see how our website is used, we use Independent Analytics, a statistics tool that runs on our own website. It does not use cookies, and the statistics are not sent to Google or any other analytics company. We only look at the numbers in combined form, for example how many people visited the Workshops page this week, and never to follow one person.
5 Cookies
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We do not use cookies for statistics or advertising.
We only use cookies the website needs to work, for example to keep you logged in to My HEY SUA, to remember your booking or checkout while you complete it and to protect the website against misuse. Because these cookies are necessary, we do not show a cookie popup. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but then logging in, booking and paying may not work.
6 Who We Share It With
We only share personal information with companies that help us run HEY SUA, and only what they need for that task:
- Website hosting: Rocket.net, where our website and its data are stored.
- Email: Brevo, which sends our emails, and Proton, which hosts our inbox.
- Payments: our payment provider, which processes membership and booking payments.
- Outings: when you book an outing, we may share your name with the venue if they need it for the reservation.
Our waitlist form, booking system and member area run on our own website. Some of our providers may process data outside the United States. We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our guests, our team or HEY SUA.
7 How Long We Keep It
- Waitlist: until HEY SUA opens and we have invited you, or earlier if you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Bookings, memberships and payments: as long as you are a member or have bookings with us, and after that as long as needed for tax and accounting rules.
- Messages: as long as needed to help you.
- Website statistics: kept in combined form.
8 Your Choices And Rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information, unless we must keep it, for example for tax and accounting;
- stop sending you emails.
Email hello@hey-sua.com and we will answer within 30 days. Members can also update their details in My HEY SUA.
9 Emails From Us
If you join the waitlist or become a member, we send you emails about HEY SUA, such as our opening, new activities and member news. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Booking confirmations, receipts and important membership messages are still sent after you unsubscribe, because they are part of the service.
10 Adults Only
HEY SUA and this website are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has given us information, please tell us and we will delete it.
11 Keeping It Safe
We use a secure connection on this website, give access to personal information only to the people who need it and choose providers that take security seriously. No system is 100% secure, but we do our best to protect your information.
12 Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. For important changes that affect members, we inform members by email.
